Nov. 5, 2008 Hey, good week this week. Yeah the south side of my area where all the ghetto is... supposedly went crazy last night. (President Obama's electoral speech in Chicago) I don't know the details. This week was really warm, really warm, it's been nice. Everthing is good, thanks for everything. Have a good week.
Nov.12, 2008 Thanks for the winter stuff and for the pictures. I was afraid dad had maybe died in a four wheeler accident or something and no one wanted to tell me, until I saw the photos, so I'm glad that everyone is doing good. Ok.
Nov. 19, 2008 Well, I guess I'll just write a little bit here. This week was great. I do find it a little hard to write stuff sometimes because I just lose motivation for writing people at home that don't write me. Let's just face it, I fell off the face of the planet, why bother writing these emails or letters. You don't want me to know what goes on at home, well I don't have any motive to let people know what goes on here.
Nov. 26, 2008 Well, this week I got nailed by a car, and so my bike is really messed up. I apologize for that, but it's going to cost around 100 bucks to put the wheels back strait and re-aline the brakes. I chose not to straiten the bent frame because that would cost around 150 or 200, so basically what the guy did for me was offset the tires a little bit to make up for the frame. So it cost a bit because he spent a while on it and I didn't know how to do it. So I apologize for that. If anyone would like the awesome stories I have like this one, well, all you got to do is send me some pictures, maybe send me a little letter or something like that, that way I'll have some motivation to let people enjoy these priceless missionary moments. But at the moment I just have no motivation nor desire to do so. As you can see by Zachs email, all it took was a little bit and I just open up. So there you go. Well, I just had to throw all that in just in case anyone wanted the story but was confused as to why they didn't get it. Once again, sorry for being expensive. I promise it wasn't my fault. I just let it go and forgot that maybe it would cost a lot to fix the bike. Oh well, when you keep the commandments it shouldn't matter because the Lord just takes care of ya anyways. Have a good week and a Happy Thanksgiving. P.S. Tam, everyone loves your potatoes. I cook them once a week or so and just eat them all week. They rock! Love Curt
Dec. 3, 2008 Hey,I really don't need a new bike. I thought I mentioned in the email that it wasnt' a big deal, my bike works fine. Sorry if I made it a big deal. Mom, I also was going to tell you, I don't know if you did it on accident, but my address is 2640 Leclaire 2. I don't think you wrote the right number there when I got your letter. Luckily I got it just the other day. Sorry if I wrote it wrong to ya. Also the cd you sent me awhile ago, I keep forgetting to tell you, it doesn't play anything. I don't know if it was for music or what. If it was for music, you probably forgot to put it on the right burn format, so the files you put on didn't work. I don't know. Anyway, this week was good.
Dec. 10. 2008 Hi,thanks for the Christmas tree, it was really nice. Thanks for all the love and support back home. This week was good. We got some more snow and it got a little bit colder. Thanks for the pictures as well, it's good to see everybody and to hear from everyone. What do I do with the huge sheets of pictures??? Am I supposed to cut it up and put it like in a photo album or do I hang it up??? I didn't really want to hang it up because it wasn't really my style, so is cutting out ones I want to keep ok??? If I send you my memory card home, will you promise not to erase the movies??? Ok, I think I'm out of questions. Things are good, and I did have one other point of buisness. On Christmas Day for the whole "phone call" thing, I will be calling before 7 am, or after 7 pm, my time. Most likely at night, but it's not sure yet. Anyway, thanks for everyting and have a good week. Love Curt
Dec. 17, 2008 Well this week we got a lot of snow. It's pretty crazy riding the bike around in it. Well, as for the story if anyone wants to really know, I was riding on the sidewalk, just getting out of an appointment with Stuart right in front. We are about to cross an alley way and right as Stuart crosses, he looks back as if to give a warning of somekind, but I didn't really know that at the time. Anyway, right as I am about to cross the alley, a white car just happens to be there going too fast and forgeting to honk, and hits me on the front of my bike. Natureally, I go flying and my bike got hurt. I got up off the ground really quick and in my frustration looked at the lady driving with a look of "are you stupid?!" and said, "HONK NEXT TIME!" and did some sort of hand motion to make it more intense. Well I felt kind of bad for that, so I pull over to the side and she gets out to come say sorry for hitting me and all that, and I calmed my voice down and put on my fake missionary vioce and said, "That's alright, go ahead. No don't worry about insurance just go ahead. I'm fine. Don't worry. You're fine. Go ahead..." and then she drove off and I got on my bent piece of crap and rode off. I thought it was handled pretty christlike if you ask me. Could have been better, but lifes a progress right? Well, I'm out of time. Have a good week. Love Curt
Dec. 30, 2008 If you wondering why you got this before you wrote an email, well, it's because you procrastinated and I beat you to it. The library is closed this Wednesday, hence the email on Tuesday. Well, no new news, except this week in church I sang a solo for my good friend Elder Naholewa who goes home tomorrow. It was crazy, especially because I had no piano, and I can't sing, and the song is long and goes high at times. Yep, 'God Be With You Till We Meet Again'. My goal was to get him to cry, but he didn't. But he said he was moved, so that was good. The good thing about singing in a spanish ward is that you don't have to be very good to be better than everyone else at singing, and frankly they don't know the difference. So there mom. I did if for you. Too bad you weren't there to see my first performance, which also happens to be my last! Ha Ha. I'm serious. I'm never doing that again. Have a good week.

Elder Perrin - 15 October 2008
Hey! I was wondering if it was possible to make a few cd's of all the conference talks from this session of conference. Does anyone have the capabilities to do that? I was kinda wanting the conference talks. I think it would be good to listen to. I was going to tell you as well, I accidentally let someone in the ward borrow my camera, and he downloaded all the pictures from it to his facebook page. So if you want to see my pictures just look up his facebook page. fvargus4009@comcast.net is the email or something and then his name is Fernando Vargus. Hope that will work to see some pictures. I don't have an extra memory card. I don't want to send this one home. Anyway, we had a good week. The numbers were low and we didn't teach as much, but that's the way it goes. We might have a baptism in a few weeks. This past week was really surprisingly warm, but it should get cold soon. Have a good week.

Elder Perrin - 1 October 2008
Well I decided I should probably leave all the pointless random stuff out of these emails and just write the stuff thats spiritual and all that. I am starting to think that maybe I just didn't understand that something shouldn't be written home right? Somethings people just don't need to hear, right? So I guess I will share what I have learned.
Well, this week was a good one, we did a lot of finding. I like finding just as much as teaching, they both have thier ups and downs. I did think of a good analogy to missionary work this week, it just came to me, and you can all quote this in your own talks or lessons if you would like. This is what I have learned.Missionary work is like the game of golf. One day you have an amazing day, everything goes right, couldn't be happier. The next day you go out, expecting the exact same amazing game you had the day before, but it turns out to be the worst day of golf you ever play. The next time you go out, it still sucks pretty bad, and frustration starts to creep in. The next time, not much different, till the point where you just want to throw in the towel. And then you go out again and you have a fantastic day just out of nowhere, and you ask yourself, why couldn't I do that the day before?Well the truth is this is about the best analogy I have ever thought of. But this week we had a good number of lessons and members are good to help here. We had a good baptism the other day that went well. The spirit was really good there, really strong. The church is true, this work is good, all is well.
Mom, don't send any sweaters, I think I'll be fine. I went to a thrift store and found some for cheap. Mr. Mac will rip you off though, I know that much. I wish I would've gone to Burlington Coat or JC Penny to buy my suits. Zach, don't go to Mr. Mac for suits. Wal- mart seriously does the job just fine. So don't worry about the sweaters. If you want, get ties. Pick out radical colorful ties. Tam does the best I think, if you really want to send stuff, send me cool ties, mine are looking a little grungy. Don't get them extra long either, that was a mistake. Ties. Charlie would love to pick one out. I haven't made an eye visit because I have one more pair of contacts. I'll let you know about that later.

Elder Perrin - 10 September 2008
This week was off the wall!!!! I love it here! I can’t even tell you how excited I am to be here. Man it's so nice because everyone is Mexican, and I have so many people I can talk to now. It's so nice. People everywhere, things to do, places to go, people to teach. My companion is so cool too; I got hooked up with a bomb companion again. That’s for sure. Anyway this week was super good, even though Elder Stuart said the week was kind of slow compared to normal. But I was all over it. We did, I guess, have a couple of set backs because his bike kept braking down and then we had to buy a new one for him the other day. But I loved it this week; it went by so freaking fast I can’t even tell you how nice that is! The last six months, seriously, felt like a year and a half. I'm not joking. I forgot what its like to have time go by. Oh it’s just so cool out here! Even though we have a butt-hole of an apartment, I don't even care, I love it. I love the butt-hole apartment. So we have a couple of families that we’re working with this transfer. A few people are really close to being baptized. We have awesome members that love to help. At least a few. I think I’m going to mount some pegs on my bike so I can haul them around with us. That will be pretty cool. I’ll look like an idiot but I don’t even care. So a few days ago it was pouring all day. Monday, I think it was. It was tight!!!! We were drenched but I didn't even care, I had the time of my life. Everyone hates riding in the rain, but I was all over it. Tracting in the rain, riding in the rain just made the day super cold, but I loved it. Oh man, my comp is hilarious. We’re the exact same in so many aspects. He’s so tight, I love the guy to death, cracks me up. He’s not perfect with the rules and neither am I, but we both love to work and we go and get it done. It’s awesome, I love it. The city is cool. So, so, cool. We have a small area, it’s a skinny triangle that goes north to south, and the south side is basically black people and its super ghetto. I love going there; it's my favorite part of the area. The northern side is all Mexican, no joke. I love talking to people, even the ones that are stupid, at least I have people to talk to!!! Yeah. It’s tight. Wow! It's so different out here; I can't even tell you how much of a different experience it is out here. I feel bad for the greeny that just went to Woodstock. We have a lot of fun. We like to do bike wars a lot, where we try to ram each other off the road, it’s so funny. We basically go shoulder to shoulder and try to ram each other to the ground. It’s hilarious, I start laughing so hard every time we get going and he usually wins. It’s funny. Oh, I got the pictures you sent mom. Thanks a bunch. Send more, I love them. Yesterday was hilarious, we went over to an investigators house yesterday, and they gave us food. Well, we had a member with us named Vicente. He wanted to spice up his food, so they brought in these peppers named Habeneros. I didn't think anything of it because I love spicy stuff, and even the day before a family gave us food, and they were all shocked I was putting this super hot sauce all over my food. So here I am, thinking I can handle hot food, no big deal. I’ve eaten it before; Daniel made it for me a lot. So they bring in some habeneros and Vicente starts to cut them up and stuff. Anyway, he takes a bite and looks like he loves it, so he tells me to try it. Here I am thinking, “Ok. No big deal. I love hot food. I dump a bunch of it on my taco, meanwhile I’m laughing at my companion because he's choking over his tiny little piece of Habenero. I think, “What a wus!" and laughed at him, and then went to take a bite of mine. I took a huge bite of this taco, with all this habenero, and I chewed and swallowed, and then disaster. I tried to play it off like my mouth was NOT about to catch fire and kill me, but oh my gosh! The pain that came from that pepper almost sent me to my maker. My eyes started just shedding tears, the sweat started pouring out of my face, I got all red, my ears were burning, and I wanted to DIE! They were just sitting there laughing at me the whole, time, and I am still trying to play it off like nothing is happening. WRONG, and then the pain in the stomach comes. Oh my goodness, I wanted to just die, I had never had it that bad before, never. They just give me a paper towel to wipe off the sweat and give me a spoonful of Ketchup. Like that’s going to help! Man I’m so stupid! Then I remember Elder Killpack telling me a bout a super hot pepper called the habenero. My companion was just laughing at me, I’m just sitting there choking, sweating, crying, drinking water, about to die. Oh man, after I was so worn out, that I couldn't even speak, I was too tired. Man it was a painful night. My stomach paid for it the whole night. But how does the quote go? Pain/ humiliation + time = laughter. Something like that. Anyway, it was funny, I enjoyed the week. The city is tight. I probably am forgetting something in this email, so if I am, I'm sorry. My first Sunday here was off the chain. We actually have members, good ones that come every week. Good week, hopefully we'll get something going this week with the work. I’ll let you know how it goes.

September 3, 2008
Well, right now I'm in an area called Hermosa Park. I'm pretty excited, because it's the city and everybody wants to go to the city. But I'm here now in the city, which is pretty sweet. Ha!Ha! My brain is about to explode!!!!Ha! Ha! Ha! I haven't seen this many people in a long time, nor this many buildings. All I've seen is corn for about 5-6 months. I'm pretty excited to be here, I won't lie. A little nervous, but at least my mind will have something to see and do all day, no more of this wandering mind crap going to happen. I think that was the worst part about Woodstock for me. So much time to just think... think about family, think about friends, think... think...think. It's not healthy. Well I'm in for a crazy ride I think. We actually have investigators down here which is exciting. It's going to be a huge change though. I feel like I'm starting my mission over. For real, that's what it feels like. I haven't taught a solid lesson for a really long time. My companion got transferred out along with me. Luckily he is still alive, apparantly the area had some negative affects on him. He was in really bad shape, I don't remember if I told you any of this, probably not because it seems I get less letters the more people worry about me. But anyway, my companion slipped into severe depression, couldn't go 10 minutes without braking down and crying, just weeping. Work slowed down big time. I tried to take him tracting but it made it worse. It was bad. Lasted for about 3 weeks. Most of it was cause to the area , and a few things at home, but he's alive, doing well again. He's in my zone here in the city now, so I'm excited for that. So that's about it for me. Just anxious to see what it's like down here in the city. Love you all. I hope Charlie's headaches go away. I actually get them a lot too. I hope he feels better.

Hey, thanks for the email. Charlie is a tough one. I wish I had a picture of his gash. I think I'm sending my memory card home soon. Also I wasn't able to download the file you attached, whatever it was. just get in contact with Sister Stoddard if you need to. Everything here in Woodstock is good. We're just doing our best. Sorry I don't have any cool stories or anything like that. I really just don't know what to say. Tell Zach he's the man for me. Ok, love you all.

Dear Elder Perrin's Mom and Dad,
Hello there. This is Elder Killpack, Elder Perrin's companion. Well, our p-day is almost over and I have already written all my normal letters and I thought I would just take a minute to write the parents of Elder Perrin. I wanted to let you know how good of a missionary Elder Perrin is. He is one of the hardest working elders I've had the chance to serve with and in the time we have been together, I feel like he has made me a better missionary. He really is fearless and does his best to talk to everyone which has been a great help for me as well, because I at times struggle with that. His great sense of humor always keeps me laughing too.
The work out here in Woodstock is a lot different and in some ways harder then any other part of the mission, but day after day he helps me get out and get to work. I know that sometimes he might get a bit discouraged, which is just part of this work. And because of that, you at home might not get to hear of all the great work he is doing out here.
So thank you for raising such a great, hard working son and thank you for letting him come out here and help me like he has.
Sincerely, Elder Killpack
P.S. Here are a few pictures I thought you might like to see.

Hey! Thanks for the package! I got it a few days ago. I think I'm going to make the brownies today, so thanks for the love and the thoughts. Mom, I thought you prooof read these emails before you sent them, if you haven't then I hope you do from now on. I'm sorry if any family member is offended from something I wrote. I just thought you might have enjoyed an experience from the mission out here in illinios.
Anyway, pretty dead week this week, nothing really happened. Thanks for everything. Love you all. Sorry my letters aren't as interesting as others.

Elder Fox July 21, 2008
Hello HelloThis week went alot better all around. I got a haircut on Monday. For those of you who didnt hear… I bought a Dr. Pepper on Monday also when we were buying our Groceries for the week and i couldnt wait to get outside to drink it because i was just so stoked to open that thing up and put the heavenly sensacional taste into my mouth. Yeah it exploded on me and let just say i looked like i had dove into a pool of Dr. Pepper. We usually have changes every 6 weeks but President decided to have them this week out of nowhere and Elder Knowlden in my distrist left to Monclava and Elder Munton came in his spot. Im kinda excited to work with him in my District, he looks like a hard worker! We taught a lady named Neli all week long and she was like GOLD!! For real, when i contacted her she really didnt want to talk to us but accepted to listen one day and ever since she read one chapter of the Book of Mormon she was ready to get baptized! We had her Bautismal date set for the 27 of July. Then on Thursday we taught the Law of Chastity and it turned out that she wasnt married and still needs to get a divorce!! :( I was so sad! Its almost imposible to get a divorce here in mexico i swear so im pretty sure we will not be baptising her this next week. I had some bad problems with my bike this week. My back rim is completly stopped working and wouldnt turn at all. I got that fixed and then that day the crank stopped working so right now i am out of a bike. The lady at Walmart in Monclova was pretty dishonest when she said that the bike i was going to buy was an awesome brand. Either that or she didnt know anything about bikes…. I dont think she knew anything about bikes. This week we found a lady that wasnt really interested but some way or another i convenced her to listen to us. She didnt pay attention at all in the lesson and about 5 minutes before we ended her 10 year old son walked in to listen to us also. We decided to teach him how to pray. Alter teaching him the 4 steps to prayer we had him say the closing prayer and it was absolutly perfect! His mom was so proud of him and amazed at how well and quick we could teach him to do something especially something that had to do with the Gospel. She oponed her heart right up and said that we could come back anytime we wanted too. Thank you mother for your hint 6 months ago on using the little kids to get to the hearts of the parents because it really does work! My companion borrowed an arubix cube from one of our investigators this week and in 2 days he taught me how to do the 5 steps to do it. I can officially say that i can do the arubix cube now!! Francisco (our recent convert) taught with us twice this week and drove us around 3 times to alot of our visits! He seriously is so awesome and has helped us out a ton with the mission work here in Hidalgo. It was awesome to see him ask our investigaters… Is there anything we can do to help you… Before we left, just like we would ask him a month ago when we taught him. He really loves helping people and it makes me more happier than anything to see our goog examples rubbing off on him. He couldnt come to church this week but next week we are preparing him to bless the Sacrament. He is excited and wants to memorize the prayers. We had an open house on Saturday that we had been planning for for 2 weeks for anyone in town who wanted to come and see what the church was like. Yeah… no one came except for some members. I pretty sure it was just lack of planning and we didnt Start soon enough so that people knew. Maybe we will try it again in the near future. We taught a guy named osvaraldo this week and he is really cool. After the 2nd lesson we asked him if he thought that the Book of Mormon was true and he said that he was sure. So we asked him if he thought that Joseph Smith is a prophet and he said yes again. Then we asked him if he would be baptized since he add such a strong conviction that all of this was true and he wouldnt accpet it!! I could go on and on with everything that i taught him that night to try and help him understand why he had to do it but he wouldnt budge. We will see what happens with him this coming week. Me and my comp will make some good plans. Rene was the only investigater that came to church with us on Sunday. He liked it alot and said he would like to come back next Sunday. We talked to him about baptism there in the church but didnt end up leaving with a batismal date. We will work hard with him this week and maybe we can come out with a baptism next Sunday. Well thats about all that went on this week for Elder Fox. Hope all is well in good ol USA. Im staying plenty busy with all of my callings! Love YALL!Elder Fox

Elder Perrin July 16,2008
Hi. Well this week was a week of no success. We lost track of our main investigator because he lost his phone and we could never find him home. We didn't find any new solid people to teach, in fact we had a hard time running into hispanics this week. On Monday and Tuesday it was really nice because went and helped Jack, a member, reshingle his roof and stuff. It was a nice break. We had to fix a few things under the shingles and tear off about half of them and then we reshingled the whole thing. We were there about 9 hours on Monday and about 8 hours on Tuesday. I was so proud of my comp; he was finally getting the hang of it at the end. Anyway, tracting was all that happened this week. Tell Charlie that I miss him and hope he gets his purple belt soon. And tell him that I wish I could swim right now so he needs to do all the swimming for me because I'm not allowed. Maybe that will help him be motivated. Well, yes, in a few days it will be my sixth month mark. I'm excited for Mitch, I think I'll write him a letter. MTC is crazy. When I think about it, Mitch is only like 7 months behing me which is nothing really. We need Zach to get out quick because I don't want to wait long for him to get married. So tell him to get his papers in now. Like now right now. haha alright. We'll here from ya next week then. Still just planting seeds here Woodstock, I'll let ya know when the story changes.

Elder Perrin July 9, 2008
Hey family!
How are all of you doing? Well, this week still nothing much doing here. We almost had a good week, but satan found his way somehow into screwing it up again. So now were back to square one. We gave an investigator a date for baptism, but then he didn't come to church, and we couldn't find him after that. Yes, satan finds a way. Fantastic! Yesterday was an interesting day. We parked the car to start tracting and we see a couple of oldish ladies walking down the street. I looked at my comp and I said, "Those look like Jehova witnesses." Well, about five minutes later a van pulls up beside us and it's a bunch of hispanics and the driver starts talking to us and what not. We had a conversation with this van full of J dubs. After a while, Elder Perrin decided not to pay attention because everything that comes out of these persons mouths is basically worthless, and when you ask them a question, they don't even hear it, they just spout off on some other random topic. For example when we say, "How do you know that bible you hold is the word of god?" or, “How do you know your church is a church of God?” we never get answers. So I'm tired of talking to J dubs. So next time I think we came up with a plan. The plan is to make the guy quiet, and just say be quiet. I am going to share one scripture with you and then you can talk. And then read the scripture about the fruits of the spirit (love, joy, happiness, knowlege, peace, etc) and then after we read that we're just going to say, "This is what we do not feel when we talk to you. Infact, we feel the opposite. I don't know something like that because we have wasted too much time with these ignorant people. Jdubs, wow! We did find a few interesting people this week, but they were both white and we gave them to the sisters. All of our appointments cancelled. We had interviews with President this week. It went well. He's a cool guy. Last night was funny. A few people had to have an interview with the President and at the end we were there talking and stuff and he was explaining the paper work. Anyway, they were talking about the tattoos they had and the lady was like, "Oh yeah, I have one!" She pulls down her collar to show the tattoo she had on her chest. And then the Mission President just leans in to take a closer look and he was like, "What is that right there?" She starts explaining and we just started laughing. Just the way Pres leaned in to get a closer look was so funny. He was just laughing too - it was funny. The tattoo was almost on her boob. I couldnt' believe how funny it was. Well, I can't really think about anything else to write. I tried super hard this week if you couldn't tell. I'm actually pretty proud of myself. Ok. Hope you all had a fun fourth and stuff. Love you all.Elder perrin

Elder Fox June 30, 2008
Hello HelloKinda crazy im writing again to tell yall about another week. Last pday i busted out the baseball glove for the first time in about a year and played some catch with my companion.. he used a backpack to catch the ball when i threw it to him haha. My arm is pretty out of shape and is what i was expecting since its been so long since ive even thrown anything more than 10 feet. We had transfers on Monday night but it really wasnt transfers because nobody got transfered... everyone in my district stayed in their same spots. We got a new Zone Leader... Elder Ramsey (my brother from the MTC) hes a stud! We didnt get alot of food from the members this week. Infact it was worst than last week! Im not sure whats going on but we will be getting it all figured out for sure. The lords servants have to eat! Elder Olivas kinda hinted on it in the sunday school class. We did some community service on saturday morning with the branch. All of us wore sweet shirts that said ¨mormon hands that help¨. The mayor sent us out and We went from house to house going in the peoples backyard and checking to see all of the stuff where mosquitos usually are like old tires, tiny pools of water, trash, etc. We wrote down the everything and then this next week some other people are going to come by their houses and clean it all up. There is a sickness called Dengue here in this part of Mexico that is pretty horrible and is sometime fatal after the 3rd time you get it. So what we were doing was trying to reduce it. Saturday night me and my companion went for a big water jug to stock up for the week since we were completely out. but this time we had to go on bikes since it was kinda late. It was my companions turn to carry it. He had it on his shoulders and it almost fell off so he took his other hand off of his handle bars to reajust it onto his shoulder... while it the process of adjusting it he lost control of his bike and flipped face first into the pavement!! The jug of water went flying into the middle of the street and his bike landed on top of him. It was NUTS!! i felt so bad for him cuz we were both already tired and sore from a days work and then that happened. He wasnt hurt too bad and toughed it out. The funny thing was, the Branch pres. just got done telling us to be careful on our bikes... haha im pretty sure he is the one that Ginxed us!!! The highlight of the week was with on of our investigators named Francisco. I think i told you about him last week. He week to church and all last week and said he was willing to be baptized. So this week was pretty much dedicated to him to make sure that everything worked out. We taught him every single day of the week and by friday he was ready to be interviewed. On Tuesday we asked him why he didnt pray about Joesph Smith when we had asked him to the night before. Then he gave the best excuse i have ever heard any of my investigators say... he said ¨why do i need to pray when i already know that its true?¨ We helped him understand that it is just important to have a relationship with your Father in Heaven. He completed 7 chapters in the Book of Mormon that we left him for ¨homework¨. Sunday was his baptism and this time he showed up by himself in his white shirt and tie with his shoes all pollished and everything! He was ready to go! He loved the church services and afterwards at 2:00 we baptized him. It was a really spiritual baptism and enjoyed every second of it. He should be a great help to this small Branch here in Hidalgo. Later in the afternoon we stopped by his house to get a drink while we were contacting and he shared more of his feelings with us there in his house. He was so excited, happy, and in peace with the choice that he had made and completely grateful for us and the blessings that we had brought into his life. He called us ¨padrinos¨ his Godparents. He really wanted us to know how he felt towards us but his words couldnt completly describe it. He said all that is left now is to press foward. He is looking forward to us coming back this coming week and teaching him more.Thats about it for the week! This coming week i will complete ONE YEAR!! WHAT!!?? haha feels like 1 semester :) Thanks for all your support everyone! Loves from the Red, White, and Green!!!Elder Fox**
